Situated next to the famous Samuel French Theatre Bookshop, one would expect to run into a playwright or two at The Pikey. In fact, when this place was The Coach & Horses, as it had been since the 1920s, one could expect to see William Holden sipping gin fizz with William Faulkner or insert name of any cocktail loving Hollywood legend from the dawn of the silver screen.
Now the C&H has been reborn as The Pikey. The original 20s-era bar has been lovingly restored.

First & Hope was created as an homage to the golden era of American nightlife and is a spectacular option for your meetings, celebrations and events. Our main bar and dining room is a modern take on the great supper clubs of the post-war era. Between 1948 and 1954, supper club patrons spent entire evenings enjoying classic cocktails and sophisticated renditions of American culinary favorites. The main dining room and bar accommodates 150 seated guests and up to 250 guests for standing events.

SAFE is a dark, comedic thriller about five individuals who are
forced into a bank vault after surviving a violent robbery. Set
entirely in the safe, the play revolves around the forced
camaraderie and conflicts between the five individuals, who have
little in common, save their instinct to survive. As their
paranoia grows, however, so does their capacity for deception.
One by one, they turn on each other, creating alliances, and
revealing their true selves ultimately leading to murder and a
discovery that will haunt them for the rest of their lives.
